Start today by working up to and establishing a 3RM Power Clean. These do not have to be ‘touch and go’ – your hands can come off the bar – but if you drop the bar you should immediately pick it up into the next Power Clean.

The conditioning should be fast. Scale the Power Clean weight so you can do the first set of 10 unbroken, but if you’re close to doing the Rx weight, then give it a try and push through even if it’s a bit heavy. Be sure to flash your elbows and stand up all the way to ensure each rep counts. If you do not have Double Unders, scale to 10 Double Under attempts each round.
