Victoria’s only claim to athleticism growing up was dance. She turned skipping out of Physical Education activities into an art form during high school. For a long time, the extent of her physical activities were LARPing (yes, that is live-action role play), moshing at metal shows and playing Dance Central on the Xbox. In 2012, she joined a CrossFit-style boot camp to start “sweating for the wedding,” as brides-to-be tend to do. Victoria was having fun with those bodyweight workouts until one magic day, she learned how to deadlift.
For Victoria, the best part of CrossFit is picking up heavy things and putting them down. She’s put in a lot of practice hours and read a lot of books on the subject. She loves sharing too much information about lifting too! Her absolute favorite movement is, and will always be, the conventional deadlift. She’s always ready to talk about working out, nutrition — especially the power of pancakes — or any other random topic. She can probably still put up a pretty solid score in Dance Central.
